Carried to the Table
Apr 14th
Enjoy this beautiful piece from April 12, 2009.
Inspired by the story of Mephibosheth, a man blessed by David in Second Samuel, Leeland Mooring explains. “We’re broken people. We have sin in our lives and we outcast ourselves from God’s kingdom. But God’s love is constantly chasing after us, kinda like how David sought out Mephibosheth.
I think when we are taken in by God’s love, we are brought into his kingdom and brought to his table. We’re saved by grace. No one can see that we are hurt because we’re covered by the blood of Jesus. That’s so relevant to us even now.”

One Way
Feb 9th
This isn’t the first time this song has made it to the podcast, but it’s in a different ket, at least. The harmony’s nice, we mixed a little heavy on the drums & bass, and we put different guitars in the left & right channels. Not a bad recording for only half a band!

This music is blessing my spirit in a busy week, and I want to share it with everyone I know.
If you’re into mellow, spiritual, deep music, give this a shot. Impossible to define by genre, but beautiful across all boundaries. It’s a free MP3 download available right here.
And this message from the artist:
Soooo… This year has been one of listening to records that make me feel good. It’s funny how you can be having a really bland day and put on a record and it makes you remember things.
Life has a point. You are cared about. Enjoy something simple for what it is.
I guess these records have been making me think I should write a record that is what comes out automatically, even if it rhymes, even if it has been done a thousand times, even if it is blatantly about God and some people might not like it.
So we’ve been trying to make one of those records. I hope these begining of the record can already make you stop and think or even just relax and smile. This record is for me and you, my friends.

Now for a note to the artist:
