Beliefs
We’re thrilled to welcome you to this place of worship and service, and we cherish the opportunity to know you as our friend and neighbor.
Over one Kroc Center entrance is inscribed, “Doorway to Opportunity.” That simple phrase is our promise for every entrance and every aspect of this campus. This simple promise speaks to our hope that we’ll be a place of new beginnings and a vessel for positive life change.
We believe lives are changed through Boundless Opportunity, Experiential Knowledge, Holistic Growth, Progressive Challenge, Relevant Skill and Meaningful Success.
These six simple phrases have a profound effect as we strive to fulfill our promise to be a Doorway of Opportunity in this community.
Every value we declare, every purpose statement we embrace is another opportunity to put our faith into action. We long to see lives transformed by the grace of God, and we dare to believe we can make a difference.
As you get to know us, you’ll see that hope is what fuels us. As we get to know you, we trust you’ll dare to have hope with us.
We Believe…
…in one GOD, the Father Almighty, creator, preserver and governor of all things.
…in JESUS CHRIST, conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary.
…that Jesus’ human life presents a UNIVERSAL EXAMPLE
and His teaching retains ETERNAL VALIDITY.
…in the HOLY SPIRIT who proceeds from the Father through the intercession of the Son.
…that the ONE GOD is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
…that the CHURCH is composed of all who trust Christ as savior and share His risen life.
…that God wills the SALVATION of society as well as of individuals and that the Kingdom of God is to come in all its fullness in this life, on earth, and that eternal life awaits all who have turned to God in repentant faith.
